The Backstory

This is the overview of the route.

I have been bicycling for many years, even before I met Rick. Together we have ridden extensively in the midwest (e.g., RAGBRAISAGBRAWMichigan, etc), as well as other locations in the US and France. A friend, Laura, did a cross-country bicycle ride when she retired and her success was my inspiration. This is Rick and I with Laura after a ride.

The route is approximately 3,000 miles. It starts in San Diego, CA on March 12, 2022 and ends in St. Augustine, FL on May 2, 2022. I pledge to blog routinely, but I do not guarantee to do it daily. Honestly, I'm not sure how I will feel at the end of the day, and I'm supposed to be having fun! Every day I will be loading that day's ride to Strava for those of you that follow me there.
