Day 24 - Sanderson to Comstock
I have been without cell and Wi-Fi for more than a few days. Thus, the updates for the next three days are brief. The days are starting to blur together and I am having a difficult remembering all the facts.
Everyone, including the strongest riders in the group said that this was the most difficult day that they had ever spent on a bike. It was all due to the headwinds. They were strong and steady at 25 mph with gusts at 10-15 more, for the entire day. I stopped at 47 mph and Rick carried on to the full 82 miles. He finished the entire day - EFI to him!!! Please send him kudos. He definitely deserves it for that feat!
We stayed at a park with bad winds and dust. We have dust in everything. Blah!!!
