Day 25 - Comstock to Brackettville - Avoiding strong wind gusts
Today the headwinds were horrible again. Part of the ride was across a bridge over the Amistad Reservoir. The bridge was in horrible shape with very low guardrails. To be safe we would cross in small groups with a car behind us with its flashers on. There were definitive concerns about being blown off the bridge. About 1/3 of the group decided to start from the side after the bridge, including me. I have had my fill of wind gusts for one trip!
I rode with others part of the time and myself the rest. It was OK riding. Not easy and not too tough. I feel as though I am start to get my biking legs back.
